As the trend of streaming high school football state championships for free continues to sweep the nation, Oklahoma coaches are taking notice. With the University Interscholastic League (UIL) in Texas making headlines, local coaches are discussing the potential impact on Oklahoma's own state championship games. 'It's a concern for us,' said Mustang High School's head coach, Larry Ferguson. 'We want to make sure our fans can watch our kids play without having to pay a fee.' Meanwhile, Jenks High School's head coach, Kirby Hocutt, sees it as an opportunity to reach a wider audience. 'If we can stream our games for free, it could bring more exposure to our program and attract top recruits like Mustang's star quarterback, Jace Parker.'
