Owasso Rams Flag Football Prospects Eye Nebraska's Inaugural 2028 Season

๐Ÿ“ Owasso RamsยทWednesday, July 8, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Owasso Rams' girls flag football program is gearing up for a pivotal year, with several prospects eyeing the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season. Coached by the Sowers sisters, Liz and Katie, the Cornhuskers are set to join the Power 4 in flag football. For Owasso athletes, this means increased opportunities for scholarships and exposure. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also top destinations, offering up to 12 scholarships and active recruiting efforts. Midland University, Nebraska, is another option for local prospects. While UT Arlington is developing its program, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. Rams athletes interested in flag football scholarships should focus on building relationships with these programs and creating highlight tapes showcasing their skills.
