Tyler Martin: Rising Star for Owasso Rams
At 6-foot-2, Tyler Martin's long strides and sure hands make him a force to be reckoned with on the Owasso Rams' 6A-I gridiron. Last season, the Class of 2027 wide receiver hauled in 37 receptions for 542 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging 14.6 yards per catch. But what's most impressive is how he got there. Martin suffered a season-ending ACL injury in 2024, yet he worked tirelessly to regain his strength and agility. His dedication paid off, as he earned a starting role heading into the 2026 season. Rams coach, Mike Ketchum, praises Martin's work ethic and says he's one of the team's top playmakers. With his size, speed and sure hands, Martin is drawing attention from college scouts, who are watching to see how he adapts to more complex defensive schemes and how he develops his route-running skills. As the Rams prepare for the upcoming season, Martin is poised to be one of the top targets in 6A-I.
