Stillwater Pioneers Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade
The Stillwater Pioneers football program is investing $1 million in a facility upgrade ahead of the upcoming season. The 5A program, which finished 7-4 last year, will benefit from the new amenities, including a state-of-the-art weight room and locker facilities. The upgrade is expected to boost recruiting efforts, as the Pioneers look to compete with other top programs in the OSSAA district. Stillwater coach, Bill Ball, says the new facilities will give his team a competitive edge, particularly in the weight room and strength training. The upgrade is part of a larger effort to improve the overall athletic experience for Stillwater student-athletes. The Pioneers will begin summer camp in August, with the season opener scheduled for late August.
