Isaiah Taylor Commits to SMU

Jenks Trojans quarterback Isaiah Taylor has committed to play for the SMU Mustangs. Taylor, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose SMU over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller fits into SMU's offense, which features a pro-style scheme that suits his skills. Taylor's commitment provides depth at quarterback for the Mustangs, who are looking to rebuild their program. He will have the opportunity to compete for playing time immediately. SMU's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, also drew Taylor to the school. Taylor previously held offers from Oklahoma State and Tulsa, but SMU's coaching staff and campus visit ultimately led to his decision.
