Jenks Trojans Hire New Wide Receivers Coach
The Jenks Trojans, a 6A-I powerhouse from Jenks, Oklahoma, have announced the hiring of Ryan Thompson as their new wide receivers coach. Thompson brings 10 years of coaching experience, including stints at Broken Arrow and Muskogee high schools. The Trojans, who finished 12-2 last season, are looking to replace production lost to graduation, particularly at the wide receiver position. Thompson's expertise is expected to bolster the team's passing game and give quarterback commit, Tyler Smith, a boost heading into the season. The hire is seen as a coup for the Trojans, who are perennial contenders in the OSSAA 6A-I classification. With the start of August camp just around the corner, Thompson is already working with the team to fine-tune their receiving corps.
