Oklahoma girls flag football players are looking north to the Midwest for scholarship opportunities, thanks to the OSSAA's pilot district expansion in Texas. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 program under coaches Liz and Katie Sowers is generating buzz. The Cornhuskers' program is offering scholarships to top recruits. Meanwhile, Ottawa University, Kansas, is a national powerhouse in NAIA flag football, offering up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters. Texas-based UT Arlington is developing its program but has not yet begun offering scholarships. Jenks Trojans flag football players are encouraged to research these programs and reach out to coaches directly to explore potential opportunities.
