Jesuit Crusaders RBs: Master the 'Hurdle-Box' Drill for Dominant Performance
To prepare for the grueling 6A season, Jesuit Crusaders running backs can benefit from the 'Hurdle-Box' drill. This high-intensity exercise targets speed, agility, and power. Set up 3-4 hurdles, 3 feet high, spaced 10 yards apart. Players start at one end, sprinting through the course, then immediately jump onto a box (18-24 inches high) placed at the finish line. After a 30-second rest, repeat for 3 sets of 5 reps. Coaching cues: 'Quick feet, explosive jump!' and 'Drive through the box, don't just step on it.' This drill translates to game performance by improving RBs' ability to change direction quickly, accelerate through holes, and burst through contact. By mastering the 'Hurdle-Box' drill, Jesuit Crusaders RBs will be better equipped to dominate on the field.
