The Lake Oswego Lakers have hired a new strength and conditioning coordinator, Alex Johnson, to lead the team's offseason training program. Johnson brings 10 years of experience working with high school and collegiate athletes, including a stint as a strength coach at the University of Oregon. The Lakers, who finished 7-3 last season and ranked 10th in the 6A classification, are looking to build on their recent success. With a strong recruiting class and a competitive schedule ahead, Johnson's expertise is expected to play a key role in the team's preparation. The Lakers will begin their summer camp in August, with a focus on building strength and endurance ahead of the upcoming season.
