Bryce Thompson Commits to Arkansas
Central Catholic Rams kicker Bryce Thompson has committed to the University of Arkansas. The 6A specialist will join the Razorbacks in the fall of 2025. Thompson's decision was influenced by Arkansas' spread offense, which aligns with his strong leg and accuracy. The Razorbacks' depth chart at kicker is open, providing Thompson with an opportunity to compete for a starting role. Additionally, Arkansas' academic program and reputation for developing student-athletes factored into his decision. Thompson had previously committed to Oregon State, but reopened his recruitment in April. He will participate in Arkansas' summer camp to further develop his skills and get familiar with the program. The 6-foot, 170-pound Thompson is expected to contribute immediately to the Razorbacks' special teams unit. His commitment adds to Arkansas' strong recruiting class for the 2025 season.
