Hunter Walker Commits to Baylor
Central Catholic Rams cornerback Hunter Walker has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2026 standout chose the Big 12 program over other Power Five offers. Walker's commitment is a significant addition to Baylor's secondary, which is expected to employ a more aggressive scheme under new defensive coordinator. The Bears' depth chart at cornerback is expected to feature several incoming freshmen, providing Walker with an opportunity to compete for immediate playing time. Baylor's academic program, which is consistently ranked among the nation's top programs, also played a role in Walker's decision. Walker had previously committed to Oregon State before decommitting in January. The Rams' top defender is expected to sign with Baylor in December and enroll for the spring semester. With his exceptional speed and agility, Walker is projected to contribute significantly to the Bears' defensive efforts.
