Cameron Williams Commits to Kansas State
Sheldon Irish defensive end Cameron Williams has committed to play for Kansas State University. The Class of 2025 standout chose the Wildcats over offers from Oregon State and Washington State, citing the team's 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision. Williams believes he will have an opportunity to contribute immediately, potentially filling a void at defensive end. Academically, Kansas State's strong program in engineering aligns with Williams' interests. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect has spent the summer attending Kansas State's football camp and has developed a strong relationship with the coaching staff. Williams was previously committed to the University of Oregon but decommitted in April to explore other options. He is expected to enroll at Kansas State in January 2025.
