Isaiah Robinson Commits to Texas Tech
Sheldon Irish offensive lineman Isaiah Robinson has committed to Texas Tech, the school announced Thursday. The Class of 2026 standout, who holds a 3.5 GPA, cited the Red Raiders' strong emphasis on developing linemen in their zone-blocking scheme as a key factor in his decision. Robinson, who measures 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, believes he has a chance to compete for playing time immediately, given the program's need for depth on the interior. Texas Tech's academic reputation and resources also impressed Robinson, who plans to pursue a degree in business. Robinson initially committed to Oregon State in February but decommitted in May after re-evaluating his options. He chose Texas Tech after visiting the campus in June and meeting with the coaching staff. The Irish will begin their 2026 season in September and will look to build on a 5-6 record from last year.
