St. Joseph's Prep Hawks standout, Emily Wilson, has been a dominant force in multiple sports throughout her high school career, but the rising senior has set her sights on flag football as a potential pathway to a college scholarship. With the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season on the horizon, Wilson is exploring opportunities with the Cornhuskers, who are offering a Power 4 program under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Wilson has been in contact with Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter in the NAIA Sun Conference. Midland University, Nebraska, has also expressed interest in Wilson's skills. As UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program develops, Wilson will continue to monitor their progress. To increase her chances of securing a scholarship, Wilson is focusing on perfecting her skills through summer camps and highlight tapes.
