Penn State Extends Offer to Coatesville Safety Carson Harris
Penn State has offered Class of 2027 safety Carson Harris from Coatesville High School. Harris, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back, has been one of the top performers at the PIAA's annual Safety Showcase. His 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and 35-inch vertical jump have garnered attention from top programs. Harris has also held offers from Rutgers and Boston College, with Temple and West Virginia showing interest. The Red Raiders' standout has been a key contributor to Coatesville's secondary, recording 45 tackles and three interceptions as a sophomore. Harris is expected to attend Penn State's summer camp in July, where he will look to further develop his skills and build relationships with the Nittany Lions' coaching staff. His recruitment timeline is expected to heat up in the coming months, with a potential decision on his college future by the end of the year.
