Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings Girls Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarships

๐Ÿ“ Pittsburgh Central Catholic VikingsยทWednesday, July 29, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the PIAA flag football pilot district expansion creates new opportunities for Texas athletes, Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings girls flag football players are advised to focus on verified scholarship programs. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season, offers a Power 4 opportunity under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Other options include Ottawa University, Kansas, with up to 12 NAIA scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter. Midland University, Nebraska, also actively recruits. While UT Arlington is developing its NCAA D1 program, it is not yet offering scholarships. Athletes should research these programs and reach out to coaches for more information. The Vikings' strong summer camp performance could attract the attention of these schools.
