Rams' Flag Football Talent to Explore New Scholarship Opportunities

๐Ÿ“ La Salle Academy RamsยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

La Salle Academy Rams, a Division I powerhouse in Providence, are poised to capitalize on the NCAA's expansion of girls flag football. The Rams' talented roster is expected to attract attention from top programs, including the University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural NCAA Division I flag football team in 2028 under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Nebraska offers a Power 5 conference affiliation and the promise of a strong athletic network. Additionally, the Rams may also consider Ottawa University, Kansas, a national flag football powerhouse that offers up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters in the flag football landscape. As UT Arlington develops its program, it may become a viable option for Texas-based athletes.
