Kicking into Gear: La Salle Academy Rams' Kicker Drill

๐Ÿ“ La Salle Academy RamsยทThursday, July 9, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

La Salle Academy Rams' kicker drill is designed to improve accuracy and power for Division I-bound kickers. The 'Kicking Circle' drill involves 3 sets of 10 reps with a 30-second rest between sets. Players start in a kicking stance, 10 yards from a target. The coach calls out a random distance (25, 30, or 35 yards) and the kicker must adjust their approach. The twist: the coach will suddenly change direction (left or right) 5 yards before the ball is kicked. This drill translates to game performance by simulating the unpredictability of game situations. Coaches should emphasize proper footwork, core engagement, and follow-through. By mastering the 'Kicking Circle' drill, kickers will develop the skills to succeed in high-pressure situations.
