North Kingstown Skippers Flag Football Recruits Eye National Powerhouses

As the inaugural 2028 season for NCAA Division 1 flag football approaches, the North Kingstown Skippers are preparing for a competitive recruiting season. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska have announced their Power 4 program, offering scholarships to top talent. Other verified scholarship programs include Ottawa University, Kansas, with up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, which has been actively recruiting. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. For Texas athletes, the RIIL flag football pilot district expansion may create new scholarship pathways. Skippers' athletes can research these programs and prepare for tryouts by attending summer camps and creating highlight tapes.
