FridayNightPulse: Bishop Hendricken Hawks LB Drill - 'The Circle of Chaos'
This summer, Bishop Hendricken Hawks LBs are putting in the work with 'The Circle of Chaos' drill. Designed to improve agility, reaction time, and tackling technique, this high-intensity exercise is a game-changer for Division I programs. The drill consists of three concentric circles, each with a different obstacle: cones, hurdles, and a tackling pad. Players start in the center circle, then navigate through each obstacle in a clockwise direction, completing 3 sets of 10 reps. As they move through the circle, coaches shout out random directions, forcing players to change direction quickly. Coaching cues include 'inside out' for wrapping up the ball carrier and 'outside in' for keeping the play in front. This drill translates to game performance by simulating the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of high school football. Run 'The Circle of Chaos' tomorrow and watch your LBs improve their skills in no time.
