Oklahoma Extends Offer to Lakewood TE Tyler Allen

The Oklahoma Sooners have extended an offer to Tyler Allen, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end from the Lakewood Gators in Class 4A. Allen, a rising senior in the Class of 2025, has also received offers from Clemson and Georgia Tech. He is a two-time all-region selection and was named to the 2023 Shrine Bowl roster. In his junior season, Allen hauled in 35 receptions for 475 yards and five touchdowns. He is expected to be a key contributor for the Gators this fall. Allen's recruitment is gaining momentum, and he is expected to make official visits to Oklahoma and Clemson in the coming weeks. He plans to announce his college decision in early November, with a commitment date set for the first week of the 2025 early signing period.
