South Pointe Stallions Break Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade
The South Pointe Stallions, a 4A program from Rock Hill, broke ground on a $2 million facility upgrade this week. The Stallions finished last season with a 10-2 record and a second-round playoff exit. The upgrade will include a renovated locker room, expanded weight room and additional practice fields. The project is expected to be completed before the start of the season. The Stallions have been a consistent force in the SCHSL 4A classification, and the upgrade is seen as a major recruiting tool. 'This will give us a competitive edge in recruiting,' said Stallions coach, 'It will allow us to attract top talent and give our players the facilities they deserve.' The Stallions will look to build on last season's success with the new facilities in place.
