Malik Young Commits to Kansas State
Tea Area Titans quarterback Malik Young has committed to Kansas State University for the Class of 2027. Standing 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Young is a dual-threat quarterback with a strong arm and exceptional mobility. The Titans' signal-caller chose Kansas State due to its pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset and playing style. Young also appreciates the Wildcats' depth chart opportunity, as he will have a chance to compete for the starting job early in his collegiate career. Additionally, Kansas State's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, resonated with Young. He previously held a commitment to the University of South Dakota but decommitted in April to explore other options. With his commitment to Kansas State, Young becomes the first 11A player from the Tea Area Titans to pledge to a Big 12 program.
