Brandon Valley RB Darius Walker Commits to Baylor

Brandon Valley Class of 2025 running back Darius Walker has committed to play for the Baylor University Bears. Walker, a standout in the 11-man Class AA division, chose Baylor due to the team's pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset. He also cited the Bears' need for depth at running back as a factor in his decision. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound back is expected to compete for playing time immediately. Walker's commitment to Baylor comes after considering other Power Five programs. He was previously committed to the University of Nebraska, but decommitted in April. Walker's academic profile and athletic ability make him a strong fit for Baylor's academic program and football team. He will officially sign with the Bears in the fall.
