Harrisburg Tigers' Multisport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarships
As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is gaining attention from top multisport female athletes. Harrisburg Tigers' standout, Emily Wilson, is one such athlete who's pivoting to flag football for college opportunities. With a strong background in track and field, Wilson is now focusing on developing her flag football skills to pursue a scholarship at a top program. Ottawa University, Kansas, with up to 12 scholarships available, is a prime target, as is Keiser University, Florida, which has been actively recruiting top talent. Midland University, Nebraska, is also a viable option. Wilson should research and reach out to these schools to explore verified scholarship pathways and discuss her eligibility.
