Rebels' Robinson Ready to Rebound
Maryville's Hunter Robinson is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback who made 42 tackles and intercepted three passes in 2024, despite missing the first five games with a torn ACL. The Class of 2025 standout worked tirelessly in the offseason to regain his strength and agility, and his efforts paid off as he earned a starting role for the Rebels. In the spring, Robinson showcased his skills at Maryville's annual spring game, where he intercepted a touchdown pass and made several key tackles. Scouts are impressed with Robinson's ability to read the opponent's offense and his willingness to take on the challenge of covering the opponent's top receiver. With his size, speed and tackling ability, Robinson is a force to be reckoned with on the Rebels' secondary. As the Rebels prepare for the 2026 season, Robinson is expected to be a key contributor to the team's success. Scouts are watching for Robinson to continue to build on his impressive spring performance and to see how he adapts to the physicality of the 6A competition.
