The University of Florida has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 offensive lineman Caleb Young of the Whitehaven Tigers. Young, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound tackle, has been a key contributor to the Tigers' success in recent seasons. In 2025, he helped anchor an offense that averaged 35 points per game. Young's offer from the Gators marks his second Power Five scholarship offer, following a previous offer from the University of Tennessee. He has also received interest from several Group of Five programs, including the University of Memphis and the University of Arkansas. Young is expected to attend the Tigers' summer camp in July, where he will continue to hone his skills and gain exposure for college scouts. His recruiting timeline is expected to heat up in the coming months, with several more Power Five programs likely to offer him a scholarship.
