Trojan Safety Jalen Young Commits to TCU

๐Ÿ“ MBA TrojansยทFriday, July 3, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

MBA Trojans senior safety Jalen Young has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs, the school announced Friday. Young, a Class of 2025 standout, chose TCU over several other Division I programs. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety is expected to fit seamlessly into the Horned Frogs' defensive scheme, which often employs a mix of man-to-man and zone coverage. TCU's depth chart at safety is expected to be a competition, with Young potentially vying for a starting role early in his career. The Fort Worth, Texas-based program also offers a top-notch academic program, which aligns with Young's academic goals. Young had previously committed to another program but decommitted in April to reopen his recruitment. He is considered one of the top safeties in the state of Tennessee for the Class of 2025.
