Isaiah Young Commits to TCU
Maryville Rebels wide receiver Isaiah Young has committed to play football at Texas Christian University, effective immediately. The Class of 2025 prospect made the decision after considering multiple offers from Power Five programs. Young, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver, chose TCU due to its strong pass-happy offense, which aligns with his skills and playing style. He also cited the Horned Frogs' depth chart opportunity, as he is expected to compete for a starting spot early in his career. Additionally, TCU's renowned academic program was a major factor in his decision, as Young is a dedicated student-athlete. Young previously held offers from several top programs, including Tennessee and Vanderbilt, before committing to TCU in 2023, but reopened his recruitment in the spring. He is expected to enroll at TCU in the summer of 2025 and participate in fall camp as a freshman.
