Jayden Harris: Rising Star at Brentwood Academy
Jayden Harris, a 6-foot-4 tight end, caught 12 touchdown passes in his first season with the Brentwood Academy Eagles, a perennial power in Division II-AA. The Class of 2026 prospect transferred from out-of-state, where he played in TSSAA 5A competition. Harris's impressive debut season earned him a starting role, where he quickly became a favorite target for Eagles quarterback. His size, speed and sure hands made him a matchup nightmare for opponents. Harris's production was not limited to the end zone, as he also excelled as a blocker, helping the Eagles' running game average over 200 yards per contest. As the Eagles head into the 2026 season, scouts will be watching to see how Harris adapts to the increased defensive attention, as well as his ability to maintain his production in the face of double teams. Can Harris continue to be a dominant force in the TSSAA Division II-AA?
