DeShawn Walker Commits to Air Force
Lake Travis Cavaliers linebacker DeShawn Walker has committed to Air Force for the Class of 2025. Walker, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect, chose the Falcons over offers from Army, Navy and Texas State. The Cavaliers' standout linebacker is expected to fit into Air Force's 3-4 scheme as a middle linebacker. Walker's commitment fills a need for the Falcons, who are looking to rebuild their linebacker corps. He will have the opportunity to compete for playing time immediately, as Air Force's depth chart is expected to be relatively open. Walker also cited Air Force's strong academic program as a major factor in his decision. Walker previously committed to Texas State in 2022 but decommitted in 2023. He is the first commitment for Air Force's Class of 2025 recruiting class.
