Ohio State Offers Katy TE Carson Thompson

Ohio State has extended an offer to Class of 2026 tight end Carson Thompson, a standout performer for the Katy Tigers (6A). Thompson, who has already seen offers from Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma, stands 6 feet 4 inches and weighs 235 pounds. He has recorded 24 receptions for 346 yards and 4 touchdowns this season. Thompson's offer from the Buckeyes marks the third Power Five program to extend an offer to the Katy product. Thompson has also seen interest from Baylor, Texas A&M and TCU. With a strong senior season underway, Thompson is expected to see his recruitment continue to heat up. He has stated a desire to make a college decision by the end of his junior year.
