Hunter Wilson, a 6A wide receiver for the North Shore Mustangs, has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Wilson, a member of the Class of 2026, cited the Red Raiders' Air Raid offense as a major factor in his decision. He believes the system will allow him to showcase his skills and contribute immediately. With the departure of several key receivers, Wilson sees an opportunity to earn a starting role early in his career. Additionally, he is impressed by the academic programs offered by Texas Tech, which align with his academic goals. Wilson previously committed to the University of Houston in 2022 but decommitted in 2023 after re-evaluating his options. He plans to sign with the Red Raiders on National Signing Day.
