Aledo Bearcats flag football standout, junior wide receiver Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of college coaches from the University of Nebraska and several NAIA programs. Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural flag football season in 2028 under coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, has expressed interest in Wilson's skills. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter, have also reached out to the Aledo prospect. Meanwhile, Midland University, Nebraska, has been actively recruiting Wilson. As UT Arlington's flag football program develops, it is expected to offer scholarships in the near future. Wilson's performance at the upcoming summer camps will be crucial in solidifying her recruitment. Coaches from these programs are urging her to attend their respective camps to showcase her skills and take the next step in her recruitment process.
