Notre Dame Extends Offer to Katy's Marcus White

The University of Notre Dame has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2026 running back Marcus White of Katy High School. White, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound back, has been a standout on the Tigers' 6A squad, rushing for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore. He also boasts a 4.4 40-yard dash time and a 35-inch vertical jump. White has already received offers from top programs such as Texas A&M, Oklahoma and LSU. The Katy native is expected to be one of the top recruits in the state of Texas this cycle. With summer camps and official visits on the horizon, White is set to make his decision in late summer, with National Signing Day looming on November 8, 2026.
