Jalen Allen Commits to Navy
Allen Eagles 2026 OL Jalen Allen has committed to the United States Naval Academy. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman chose Navy over offers from Army, SMU, and Tulsa. Allen cited the Midshipmen's triple-option offense as a key factor in his decision, stating he believes his skills will translate well to the team's run-heavy scheme. He also praised the program's strong academic reputation and the opportunities available to student-athletes. Allen was a first-team all-district selection in 2025 and is expected to compete for a starting spot on the Navy line. The commitment marks the first from the Allen Eagles to the Naval Academy since 2019. Allen's decision comes after a decommitment from Texas Tech in April, where he had previously pledged to play for the Red Raiders.
