As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 flag football program continues to attract top talent. For local flag football prospects from the North Shore Mustangs, Ottawa University and Keiser University offer verified scholarship pathways. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships, and Keiser University, an active recruiter, are both hosting camps this summer. Prospects interested in exploring these opportunities should visit Ottawa University's Kansas campus or Keiser University's Florida campus. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska and Ottawa University's coaching staff will be on hand to evaluate and recruit top talent. Midland University in Nebraska is also an active recruiter, while UT Arlington's developing program is worth monitoring. Local athletes should research and reach out to these schools directly to learn more about their flag football programs.
