Trevon Taylor Commits to Navy Football Program

Skyridge Falcons cornerback Trevon Taylor has committed to play for the United States Naval Academy football team. The Class of 2025 standout chose Navy due to the Midshipmen's aggressive defensive scheme, which aligns with his athletic abilities. Taylor is expected to contribute immediately as a freshman, potentially competing for a starting spot in the secondary. The Falcons' cornerback also cited Navy's rigorous academic program and the opportunity to serve his country as key factors in his decision. Taylor previously held offers from several Power Five programs but ultimately chose to commit to the Naval Academy in June 2026. He will join the Midshipmen in the fall of 2027, pending his completion of high school requirements.
