Tyler Allen Commits to Baylor University
Westfield Bulldogs tight end Tyler Allen, a Class of 2025 standout, has verbally committed to Baylor University. Allen, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect, chose the Bears due to their pro-style offense, which aligns with his skill set. He is expected to compete for a starting role in the Baylor tight end rotation, providing depth behind projected starter Drake Dabney. Academically, Allen is drawn to Baylor's strong communication program and research opportunities. This marks a new commitment for Allen, as he previously held offers from Virginia Tech and Louisville. Allen's recruitment process was highlighted by his impressive performance at the 2025 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. He will join a Baylor program that has produced several NFL tight ends in recent years, including Gavin Holmes and Drake Dabney.
