Westfield Bulldogs Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs

๐Ÿ“ Westfield BulldogsยทWednesday, July 1, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the VHSL flag football pilot program expands to new districts in Texas, Westfield Bulldogs players are focusing on verified scholarship opportunities in the region. The Bulldogs' 6A status makes them eligible for the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season, where coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are building a Power 4 program. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also actively recruiting Texas athletes, offering up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA school with a strong presence in the region. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet offered scholarships. Bulldogs players interested in flag football scholarships should research these verified programs and reach out to coaches directly to discuss eligibility and recruitment processes.
