Michigan Offers Rutland TE DeShawn Harris in Early Recruiting Push
The University of Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to Rutland Raiders tight end DeShawn Harris, a Class of 2026 standout. Harris, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds, has impressed scouts with his 4.6-second 40-yard dash time and 32-inch vertical leap. He has also hauled in 15 touchdowns over the past two seasons, showcasing his red-zone threat. Harris holds offers from Boston College, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech, in addition to the Wolverines' offer. As a rising junior, Harris is expected to see significant playing time for the Raiders this fall. He has also been invited to participate in the prestigious Rivals100 Camp, where he will face off against top talent from across the nation. Harris is expected to announce his commitment in the spring of 2025, with a final decision to be made after his official visits.
