The Rutland Raiders, a Division I program from Rutland, Vermont, officially broke ground on a $1 million facility upgrade. The project aims to enhance the team's training and competition spaces, as well as improve overall player safety. The Raiders finished last season with a 4-6 record, narrowly missing the playoffs. With the upgrade, the program expects to attract top recruits and increase competitiveness in the Vermont high school football landscape. The new facilities will feature a state-of-the-art weight room, upgraded locker rooms and a renovated fieldhouse. The project is expected to be completed by the start of the season, providing the Raiders with a strong foundation for success in the upcoming year.
