Tyler Walker Commits to Army
Kaukauna senior safety Tyler Walker has committed to play football at the United States Military Academy. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Walker, a Class of 2025 standout for the Kaukauna Ghosts, chose Army over offers from Western Michigan and South Dakota State. Walker's commitment comes after a successful summer camp session with the Black Knights, where he impressed coaches with his range and tackling ability. The Kaukauna Ghosts' 3-4 scheme aligns with Army's base defense, and Walker believes he can contribute immediately as a reserve safety. Army's strong academic program, which offers a range of STEM fields, also appealed to Walker, who maintains a 3.5 GPA. Walker previously held a commitment to Marquette University, but reopened his recruitment in February. He plans to report to Army's prep school in June 2027.
