Clemson Extends Offer to Class of 2025 Kicker Caleb Thompson
Clemson has become the latest major program to offer Class of 2025 kicker Caleb Thompson of Morgantown High School's Mohigans. Thompson, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound specialist, has already seen offers from West Virginia and Marshall, in addition to Clemson. In his junior season, Thompson connected on 22 of 25 field goal attempts and averaged 40 yards per punt. He also holds a personal best punt of 55 yards. Thompson's strong leg and accuracy have caught the attention of college scouts, and he is expected to be one of the top kicking prospects in the state. With the start of the high school football season just around the corner, Thompson's recruitment is heating up. He plans to attend Clemson's summer camp in July and will likely visit other top programs in the coming months.
