Carson Anderson Commits to Army
George Washington Patriots tight end Carson Anderson has committed to Army for the Class of 2027. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Anderson chose the Black Knights due to their pro-style offense, which aligns with his skills and experience playing in the AAA. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately as a freshman, given Army's depth chart at tight end. Additionally, Anderson was drawn to Army's strong academic program, which offers a range of engineering and business courses. Anderson had previously committed to Marshall in February 2024 but reopened his recruitment in March 2026. He attended Army's summer camp in June and developed a strong connection with the coaching staff. Anderson is expected to enroll in the fall and begin classes as a freshman in August 2027.
