Florida Offers George Washington's Jayden Johnson
The University of Florida has extended a scholarship offer to Jayden Johnson, a standout running back from George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia. Johnson, a Class of 2026 prospect, has been a force to be reckoned with on the gridiron, boasting impressive measurables of 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, and a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time. He has also proven himself to be a workhorse, carrying the ball 25 times per game for an average of 120 yards. Johnson has already received offers from West Virginia and Marshall, and is also being pursued by Pittsburgh. The Patriots' star back is expected to attend Florida's summer camp in late July, where he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and further solidify his relationship with the Gators' coaching staff. Johnson's recruiting timeline is expected to heat up in the coming months, with a decision potentially coming as early as the fall of 2026.
