Morgantown DE Hunter Anderson Makes Immediate Impact
Hunter Anderson, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end for the Morgantown Mohigans, racked up 12 sacks in his first eight games last season, including a 4-sack performance against then-No. 2 Parkersburg South. The Class of 2027 standout transferred from out-of-state powerhouse, Katy (TX) Tigers, a WVSSAC 6A Division II program, to West Virginia's AAAA classification. Anderson's impressive debut season earned him a starting role, a testament to his work ethic and natural ability. As a Mohigan, Anderson is part of a stout defensive line that will look to anchor the team's chances in the upcoming season. Scouts are watching to see how Anderson adapts to the AAAA classification and if he can maintain his high level of production, particularly against the more physical opponents in the Mountain State.
