Trevon Anderson Commits to Kansas State
Laramie Plainsmen safety Trevon Anderson has committed to play for the Kansas State Wildcats. Anderson, a 4A standout in the Class of 2026, chose the Big 12 program after considering several other Division I offers. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defender is expected to contribute immediately to the Wildcats' secondary, which operates primarily out of a 3-4 base defense. Kansas State's scheme fit aligns with Anderson's skillset, and he should compete for playing time as a true freshman. The Plainsmen's athletic program at Laramie High School also shares similarities with Kansas State's, with a strong emphasis on speed and agility. Anderson cited the Wildcats' academic program and resources as key factors in his decision. He had previously committed to Wyoming in January 2025 before decommitting in February 2026 to explore other options.
