Malik White Commits to Iowa State
Cheyenne Central wide receiver Malik White has committed to Iowa State University, the Cyclones announced Thursday. The 4A Indians standout will join the Cyclones in the fall of 2027. White, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose Iowa State over other Division I offers, citing the team's need for a speedy wide receiver in their spread offense. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete will look to contribute immediately, potentially competing for a spot on the depth chart alongside returning starters. Iowa State's academic program, which boasts a 95% graduation rate, also played a factor in White's decision. The Cheyenne Central product held offers from several Big 12 programs, but ultimately chose the Cyclones for their athletic and academic opportunities. White's commitment marks the first for the Cyclones in the Class of 2026.
