Natrona County Mustangs Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade
The Natrona County Mustangs, a 4A program from Casper, Wyoming, officially broke ground on a $1 million facility upgrade this week. The project, set to be completed in time for the upcoming season, will feature state-of-the-art locker rooms, a renovated weight room and improved field conditions. The upgrade comes on the heels of a 5-5 season in 2025, with the Mustangs looking to improve their competitiveness in the 4A West Conference. Recruiting efforts have been bolstered by the addition of new coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Ryan Thompson, who brings experience from the collegiate level. The facility upgrade is expected to give the Mustangs a significant recruiting advantage, as they look to build on their recent progress and challenge for a state title.
